Hello Traveler! Thank you for visiting my portfolio. My name is Juan Carlos, I'm a SoCal Native and primarily a landscape photographer, but I do enjoy taking portraits as well. You could say I'm a "Fullstack Photographer".
I started my photography journey back in 2016 when I noticed all these amazing instagram photos from travelers. I became inspired by the vibes conveyed through their pictures, and I guess you can say the rest is history.
I use a Nikon D3300 and iPhone XR for my pictures. Nothing complex, but I believe there's a lot of beauty in simplicity too! I hope you enjoy your visit. Shoot me a message if you'd like to collab!
This gallery features a collection of some of my favorite photos from when I first started out up until today. You can find pictures here from my travels in Iceland, Japan, and the Western Region of the United States (West Coast is the Best Coast).
This section features my all time favorite photos. I do my best to capture these breathtaking moments, but I also give myself time to step away from the camera and be in the moment as well. Moments are fleeting so I don't always get a "perfect" shot, but capturing those "imperfections" are what truly makes a photographer!
